Sorry for writing in English, but I'm an international patient and I've trying to contact Dr. Lützenberg by email a few weeks ago but I didn't get any answer. Does someone know if he is on vacations? I always read he usually replies relatively fast.

Mich würde auch mal interessieren wie schnell die anderen hier von Dr. Lützenberg eine Antwort bekommen haben?
Ich habe ihm vor zwei Wochen das erste Mal geschrieben und bisher noch keine Antwort von ihm bekommen.
Angerufen habe ich dort schon zweimal und auch vorsorglich schon einen Sprechstundentermin, leider erst Anfang Februar.
Es hieß er antwortet normalerweise schon auf die Mails, aber ein bisschen dauern könne das schon.
Etwas verwundert bin ich nun aber, dass auch nach zwei Wochen noch gar nichts kam?
Wie war das bei euch?

Hi, I phone called him in beginning October and the secretary told me to resend the email again. I did it and I didn't receive any answer... So a total of 3-4 mails approx + phone call in 3-4 months and no answer.
I'm really disappointed because my pectus case is special and I really believe Dr. Lützenberg is the one for this.

Also ich kann bestätigen, dass es momentan sehr lange dauert eine Antwort von ihm zu erhalten. Meine Kardiologin wartet seit 4 Wochen auf eine Rückmeldung von ihm, weil sie den Sinn eines Stressechos hinterfragt. :(
Things can take time. If the secretary didn't say anything specific, that just means dr. Lützenberg is busy. As I recall, he goes on vacation in January, which explains why Klaus1985 has to wait until February until his appointment. Christmas is coming up and autumn/fall also means that people can get sick and need to stay home for a few days... so have some patience.

Bitte die Kardiologin hinterfragen, ein Stresstest ist bei manchen Fällen Standard. Wenn der behandelten Arzt gesagt hat, es sei notwendig, dann sollte die Kardiologin dies nicht hinterfragen, oder ist sie Spezialistin auf dem Gebiet Trichterbrustkorrektur? Es lohnt sich selber Druck auszuüben und sich nicht immer den Ablauf der Ärzte zu vertrauen. Nimm die Sache selber in die Hand, so kommt man weiter.
Vermutlich hast du Recht. Aber das Problem ist, dass man mein Herz schon bei einem normalen Echo aufgrund des Trichters nicht gut schallen kann. Sie glaubt nicht daran, bei einem Stressecho gute aussagefähige Bilder zu bekommen. Das ist der Grund warum sie das hinterfragt.

Hello I'm also an international patient. He responded to my initial email in February in 3 days, and then a few days later I sent him CT scans and medical info and he responded 12 days later and proposed a video call. That was over a month ago and he hasn't responded since.
I just sent a follow up email today. I wonder if his online popularity means he gets lots of emails.

Hi, thanks for sharing your experience. It looks like you had better luck than me; I tried a week ago again but didn't get any answer from him.
Just out of curiosity, could you tell me what email you are writing to? Just in case there is the slightest possibility that I am using the wrong one (I highly doubt it). Thanks again and I hope you can have a successful surgery with him.
